bu.re_ is the handle of Devin Blair, a Los Angeles-born ambient producer and multi-instrumentalist. In his early twenties, Blair bought a field recorder and began recording ambience, quickly developing a deep interest in music revolving around textures, lush soundscapes, and noise; bu.re_ is the compounding of these elements, placed over a bed of field recordings taken in a multitude of countries— an amalgamation of experiences.

Wong/Sherman/McCabe Trio is made up of Dustin Wong on guitar and sample keyboard, Isaac Sherman on modular synthesizer, and Nicole McCabe on alto saxophone. Hailing from Tokyo(Wong),Milwaukee(Sherman),and the Bay Area(McCabe), their blended sounds create a unique atmosphere with influences from ambient ,avant-grade, jazz, and reductionism.
