Kalia Vandever Releases "Mirrored Solitude"

Today Kalia Vandever shares “Mirrored Solitude", a vulnerable meditation featuring a rare vocal performance from Vandever, and the next look at her forthcoming debut solo album We Fell In Turn out March 31st on digital and vinyl.

Emerging from a cyclical vocal drone Vandever’s scintillating trombone once again becomes the protagonist of the story she tells. The vocals remain a haunting presence reminiscent of our own circling thoughts, invited or not, as Vandever is searching, crying out to a void that responds only in a buzzing swell. The ephemeral track, like life itself, remains unsolved and unfinished; the moment you think you have a grasp the music slips through your fingers.
