AKP Recordings and dublab present Unknown Movie Night at The River LA on May 24th. Produced with the Echo Park Chamber of Commerce with support from the Los Angeles Department of Cultural Affairs, this event is free to the public ages 21 and up.

Founded by experimental musical ensemble Arthur King, Unknown Movie Night is a recurring live scoring event where the selected film is unknown to both audience and band until it begins. Hand-picked film selectors and a rotating cast of artists join Arthur King in making each UMN unique. This iteration is part of dublab's Spring Membership Drive, serving as a celebration of the existing members and a path to become a member for others.

dublab's Alejando Cohen is the film selector for the evening, musicians include Carla Azar, David Ralicke, M.A. Tiesenga, Peter Walker, and Senon Williams.

The evening’s recorded score will be duplicated in real-time by CyKiK. dublab members will be able to take home a copy on cassette, as well as anyone else who signs up to become a dublab member.

DJ sets from Ki Oni & Luke Elliott bookend the performance, beverages and popcorn will be provided.
