AKP Recordings and Arthur King are excited to announce the next foray into the ongoing experiment Unknown Movie Night on Wednesday, November 9th. Join us at the Dangerbird Records / AKP Recordings headquarters in Silver Lake for an evening of sonic and visual exploration.
The evening’s film has been selected by Sam Johnson and will feature a live improvised score from David Ralicke, Koool G Murder, Laura Escudé, Mia Doi Todd, and Peter Walker. DJ sets from dublab’s Indoor Cats will bookend the screening, beverages and popcorn will be provided.
With the help of KamranV/CyKiK we will be duplicating the live score to cassette made to order. Show up early to secure your copy of this limited run artifact.

PARKING
Street parking is available in the surrounding neighborhood. No on-site parking for this event.
BATHROOMS
Port-o-potty available for all genders to use throughout the event. Runtime of the film is around 90 mins with dj sets before and after, so plan accordingly if this is not your preferred bathroom experience.
SEATING
There will be a limited number of chairs, as well as stadium style seating that can accommodate others, first come first serve.
TEMPERATURE
While Southern California is known for its temperate climate, this time of year we can experience swings in temp once the sun sets. We recommend dressing warm, with a blanket to make your experience extra cozy.
