The trio of Danny Frankel, Victoria Williams, and Doug Wieselman convened in Frankel’s Joshua Tree home in December of 2017 to record Roofrack for Ralph. Together the trio make a strikingly unique blend of ambient, folk, jazz, and no wave music. Largely improvised, the calm interplay of guzheng, guitar, reeds, and percussion fuses into a strange yet stirring impression of Americana.
