Speaker Rotations from Nickolas Mohanna is out now on digital and limited run cassette. Rooted in an ongoing improvisational practice, the collected pieces began from live experiments and extended techniques with feedback resonance. The results swell in loops of hypnotic delay cast against stiff digital textures, field recordings, and spatial expressions, an enchanting arrangement of guitar, trombone, and piano.

Nickolas Mohanna is an artist and composer based in New York. Since the early 2000s, he has created a body of work that uses various media to fade the borders between music, sound, and visual art, producing works from environmental and internet sounds to guitar and percussion. He has also operated the independent DIY publishing imprint Run/Off Editions, which seeks to promote publishing as an artistic practice, producing small editions in the form of artists’ books, sound recordings, and experimental fiction.
