Thank you to everyone who came out to our latest Unknown Movie Night at 2220 Arts + Archive.
Floria Sigismondi set the vibe for the evening with her other-worldly film selection, René Laloux’s Fantastic Planet, and musicians Kern Haug, Pauline Lay, JP Maramba, David Ralicke, and Peter Walker performed an improvisational score in real time that matched the eclectic visuals.
Duplicated on-site to cassette by CyKiK, the score went home with attendees along with posters designed by Jasper McMahon.
Before and after the screening, dublab's Jenn Zelmer was deep in her bag of sonic alchemy, oscillating between ethereal bliss and meditative vinyl rhythms.
